Members of Old Yardleians Minis and Juniors section attended the RFU's Scrum on the Beach event sponsored by O2. This was held on an artificial beach constructed at Centenary Square in town. The youngsters had a great time playing tag rugby and also managed to meet England stars Danny Cipriani and Nick Easter. The sponsors O2 were very generous in their provision of goody bags and souvenirs of the day and a great time was had by all that attended, especially club groundsman Brian 'Spock' Collingwood who was mistaken for England number 8 Nick Easter on several occasions! NOT!
