Club Stuff:

Our League Next Season:
Midlands Three West (North): Bishops Castle & OV, Bloxwich, Burntwood, Handsworth, Leek, Moseley Oak, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Old Yardleians, Tamworth, Telford Hornets, Veseyans, Wednesbury.
Note that we are in Midlands three. This is nothing to do with Old Yards getting promoted. The restructure at the top of the leagues included the renaming of Midlands 1 to National 3 Midlands. There is also a National 3 North and National 3 South. That means all lower leagues were renamed.

New Season
Pre-Season training starts on Tuesday 23rd June so please make every effort to attend. It will then be every Saturday and Tuesday. Please support Steve Grainger, Gary Robinson and Steve Mancel as they take Old Yardleians back to where we belong. The club will be putting out a strong 1st XV this season supported by a Development XV. For the old farts like me there will be a traditional 3rd XV made up of mainly over 35s with a few youngsters to do the running.

Members of the 1st XV Squad and the Development XV will receive a letter from Steve Grainger this week detailing the plans for the coming season.

Why not pay your Annual Subs early?
Dave Rimmer & John Lonie will collect Annual Subs next season

England vs. New Zealand - Autumn International
Application forms have been emailed out and are also available at the club for this game on 21st November 2009. Apply by Saturday 25th July 2009.

We got a Big Fridge
Big thanks to Martyn Cartwright who has obtained a big fridge for the club and John Lonie/Steve Grainger for organising the transportation.

Replica Shirt Orders
The latest batch of club replica shirts ordered by members has arrived. If you ordered one I will be contacting you to arrange getting it to you.

Anything to say
Please email me details of any Old Yards information, trivia or jokes so I can add them to the next update.
