New Faces for the Minis & Juniors

The Old Yards Minis & Juniors ran a Fun Day 2 weeks ago to encourage some new blood into the ranks. Well I am delighted to say that it has been a GREAT success. Here we are 2 weeks later and we now have 7 new faces ageing from 5 to 7. All the new players turned up for training yesterday and I am hopeful that within a few more weeks, we can blend the new players with some of the more experienced ones so that we can run an Old Yards Under 8s AND and an Old Yards Under 7s. We have to keep building from the bottom up to ensure the Sunday rugby teams continue to grow.
If you are interested in helping out or want to come along and try 'Tag' rugby then we train at Tilehouse Lane on Sunday's between 10.30am and 12 noon. Clubhouse is open for tea/coffee and hot snacks, and the players are rewarded for their efforts with hot food afterwards.
