A good game considering the state of the pitch
With virtually no rugby played anywhere across the Midlands, I feel that we should congratulate the players from our club as well as the visitors from Aston Old Eds and the referee. The game was won narrowly by the Ys 14 - 12 but ebbed and flowed (get it ?) and could have gone either way. At this point my new year apathy takes over. I read the report written by Glyn on the Aston website and thought to myself that he had produced a fair summary of the game, even the comment about our 2nd row (son of the President) collecting his yellow card. So, if you wish, have a read here.

And Finally
Thanks to all those good people of Leeds where we spent the new year. I am convinced that it must be situated within the Arctic Circle but She who knows her tea bags was very pleased with her cup of Yorkshire char.
Well, should he go or should he stay? All I can say is that Mr Wenger knows best. At least, I hope he does.
