Bournville vs. Old Yardleians U11s 4th Feb 2007
A very exciting match against Bourneville, played on Bourneville's home ground.
The first half saw Old Yardleians score the first try, with some good tackling and lots of passing.
Jack took us into the lead and also converted the try.
With our heads up we carried onto half time, but Bourneville proved to be a stronger opponent than we first thought and they scored two tries and a conversion.
The end result was Old Yardleians 7 Bourneville 17 .
However, we learned afterwards that quite a few Bourneville players were over the age of 11, this means our lads did a first rate job of holding the score.
Well Done Boys !!!!
