ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END !

Cannock, Brackley, Telford, Uttoxeter, Bedford Swifts, Harbury, some were easier than others but the common factor was that we played some brilliant rugby and gained wide spread recognition in the process. However, one away draw too many took the Yards to a place near the North Pole called Baildon. As previous winners of the RFU Vase we expected a tough game and we got it.
On the day our forwards performed very well especially in the set pieces whereas their strengths seemed to be in the backs. To keep it brief, we were 8 - 10 down at half time, got it back to 14 - 15 but try as we did we couldn't quite get the win that would have taken us to HQ (Twickers).
Congratulations to Baildon for getting the game on, their hospitality and our best wishes for the final. But for us it's back to familiar places and we owe it to ourselves to bring the season to the successful conclusion that our players, management and supporters deserve.
