Old Yardleians RFC: Club News

THE SEASON GETS EVER CLOSER

Fri, 09 Aug 2013 12:39

Next Saturday the 17th August, the club hosts the Moss Goode 15 a side competition, first played in 1980 and named in memory of a great man in our local rugby organisation. The competition is seen by many as the curtain raiser to the season and more details will appear shortly.

On a totally different front, I was having a conversation with Bryan Jones from the Solihull Archery club. As you might know, the Archers meet at our club usually at 2.00 on sundays and have a designated area away from the rugby. If you would like to know more and contact Bryan then he can set up a taster session. He can also arrange group lessons for small parties of friends or workmates and can offer a buffet as part of a package. The rugby club is normally open for refreshments. If you would like to know more, come along on a sunday or contact the club.
