TEN REASONS TO COME TO OUR CLUB ON SATURDAY

As I am sure that you know, this Saturday, (17th August) sees the Moss Goode and Old Yards 15 a side tournament. Anyway she who thinks watching a Shakespeare play is the height of live entertainment challenged me to offer 10 reasons why a visit to the Old Ys on Saturday would be desirable. So, here goes
.
1. To watch different teams play with their different approaches and to see how the game has evolved.
2. To see if the Ys are prepared for the higher league division we are in this season.
3. Enjoy a chat with friends from other clubs.
4. Examine the clubhouse improvements in terms of better facilities and all round aesthetics (Fridge word)
5. You can leave the urban sprawl for a while and step into the picturesque countryside.
6. Give your taste buds the opportunity to savour Old Ys burgers and hot dogs.
7. To offer advice to our referees.
8. You can see old faces from our past.
9. Check that Peter is still on his high calorie diet.
10. Last but not least, enjoy a drink or two.
