A combined Ones & Twos travelled over to Sunnybank Avenue on Saturday to play Aston Old Edwardians A and came away with a good solid 26-17 win, and sounds like the boys had lots of tackling practice on GB Vets No.8 Darren Gardner, notably Lee Purdy & Ian Walker. The combined Vandals/Hornets had a slightly easier outing at Tilehouse Lane despatching Aston's B team 40-0. The youngsters coming on in the second half simply refusing to buckle and tackling their socks off to keep the try line intact despite Aston upping their game in the second half.
