THE PRESIDENT CELEBRATES HIS BIRTHDAY
Kennedy, Lincoln, De Gaulle, Devalera, Mandela, Washington, etc. etc.
Great leaders of their own people.
However, today we celebrate the Birthday of our own club president, the Peter Pan of rugby Steve Painter (Dip F.D).
His age is private but rumours suggest half way between 60 and 70.
Possibly the greatest president that the Old Yards has ever seen (even Sid agrees), he is being taken out tonight by his sons and if any of you see him and say to him,'Steve, how do you do it?', then a pint will come your way.
