OUR JERSEY REPORTER HAS A LONG MEMORY
Hi Gents.
As you know, this Saturday marks 50 years exactly, since the first game was played at Whitlocks End.
I have attached an image of the Clubhouse, taken on that day.
As you can see, the changing room block is nearly complete, with the lounge, bar and kitchen, yet to be started.
The photo was taken about one hour before kick off, and some of the players are still working on the roof.
I would be pleased if you could circulate this message, together with the image, and hopefully those present at Saturday's game will raise a glass to celebrate the anniversary.
