Phil Painter has advised that referee Tom Whitton has passed away. Tom was a regular ref at the club and used to call in on the way back from refereeing elsewhere. He never asked for expenses preferring to be paid in beer. His son Graeme played briefly for the colts and asked if we would let members know. Toms funeral is on Friday 6th November 10.30 Robin Hood Crematorium afterwards back at the Red Lion Shirley.
