What?s happening at Old Yards?
A disappointing first weekend in the league when Old Yardleians lost 24-22 away at Selly Oak. Yardleians started slowly being 17-0 and 24-5 down during the game. Then tries by Adam Walker, Dean Brain, Phil Painter and Ian Walker almost turned the game around. Other games - Sean Byrne lead his team to a tough win against Old Halesonians 3rds while a scratch side led by Greg Allen just beat Pershore 65-50 in a game that started 10 men against 12 and finished 14 against 12.
