It is never easy to win in Coventry.Having spent two seasons at one of the stylish clubs in the city, I remember the special welcome that was saved for teams making the journey from Birmingham or Solihull. I thought that over the years things might have changed but it did not feel that way to me.
A good pitch was very much to our liking but the Dunlop side looked as if they worked on their limited crash ball game but if you get the chance to look at Adam,s match report you will get a clearer picture of how we were faster and fitter than the hosts, in fact, our scrum half had the vision and speed to leave the opposition standing. The win by 36 - 14 was crucial in both league points and team spirit. I must mention our supporters, single figures in number, who made the journey. Well done fellas.
Knowledge, a good memory and a slice of luck.
