It is with great sorrow that we have to announce the passing of Gina Myners who is probably better known to you all as the better half of “Bill’n’Gina”, being the partner of club stalwart Bill Collins.
Gina hasn’t been around recently because she went back to her home in Wales two months ago to get treatment for severe back pain which then turned out to be a very aggressive form of cancer to which she finally succumbed on Wednesday morning.
Gina has been a fantastic servant to the club over the last few years; serving behind and organising the bar, helping Bill with his groundsman’s duties – she was a dab hand with the sit-on mower - and cultivating the beautiful flower beds around the patio area.
On behalf of all at Old Yardleians - God bless you Gina, thank-you for all your hard work and may you rest in peace.
