STUCK IN STUDLEY

Just in case you ever feel the urge to go down the A435 to watch a game at Alcester, give yourself about a week to get through the roadworks in dreary Studley.
Well, I got there eventually to watch our First team play Alcester  in a game which we had targeted as a potential points earner.
Well, I was disappointed. In my dubious opinion we were at least equal to our hosts on a man to man basis but tactically we were at times naive and it does not really help if we use our energy vocally rather than where it should be applied. We are better than out performance suggested so lets get out there and do it.

On the home front, our Development squad, elderly chaps and young tearaways claimed another win against our visitors from Alcester.

Friday, 22nd March is the date of our next Charity Quiz. It is held at the club with doors open at 7.00 and the quiz starting at 7.30 Teams can be up to six in number and do not have to be entirely club members. The cost is eight quid which includes a very nice Fish and Chip supper.
Have you got the knowledge to beat the likes of Steve Painter, Tom Power or Pembo is the question.

Congratulations to Bryn and Helen on the birth of Ronan on 24th March. I guess that being a Grandparent only adds a few years to our ages.
