Many of you will already know via Facebook that Cedric Farrell, one of the club's more remarkable characters, passed away three days ago. He was only in his early fifties and so we are all stunned by this bad news which is yet another blow delivered by 2020.
Cedric was never predictable, but he always had a mischievous smile on his face and he will be missed by many in the club, who have very fond memories of time spent with 'Cedders', drinking, laughing and telling comical tales of rugby exploits. He featured in the first XVs of the early 2000's and was a better player than many realised.
In an era when many club characters have been lost from the touch line and the bar, Cedric will be sorely missed.
Rest in Peace mate.
