The 2nd XV lost 33-5 at home to Coventrians 1st XV. A solid forward display lead by John Lonie eventually gave Old Yards their only score. Following continuous drives to the line by the aging pack, Junior Williams on at Scrum Half dived over from five yards out. Coventrians talented backs were just too good on the outside and their wingers scored their tries. They had tried going down the middle but some big hits by Tony Fitz made them think again.
The 3rd XV lost by quite a few points at home to Birmingham Barbarians 1st XV

1st XV are at home to Stourbridge Lions in the North Midlands Shield, if they win it could be Camp Hill in the next round!

Clubhouse Update?
Tony Fitz has come up trumps with free carpet tiles for the bar. He is waiting for a generous contractor to have a free day and they will put them down professionally for us. Thank you yet again Tony.
Want to hire the club?
Members can have free hire of the club for their own parties. If you know anyone else who might want to book the club it costs £100. Please contact Mark Baldwin for availability.
