New Season

  • The new fixtures are out and we are in the Midlands 4 West North League. Teams we will play are:  Shrewsbury, Selly Oak, Tamworth, Veseyans, Willenhall, Newcastle Staffs, Bishops Castle, Burntwood, Leek, Handsworth and Cleobury Mortimer.
  • The first league fixture is on Saturday 13th September when we play Selly Oak at home. We will have a VPs lunch on this day.
  • The 2nd XV are in a Greater Birmingham 2nds league this season. Matches will be played on the same weekends as the 1st XV league games. Teams in our league are Camp Hill, Solihull, Dixonians and Bournville.
  • Rich Withey is busy completing the fixtures for all teams and we should be able to send out a copy to everyone in the next ten days.

WORKING PARTY REQUIRED EACH WEEKEND OF THE SUMMER

We intend to complete the bar and changing room extensions this summer. To do so we need your help on a weekend. Please attend on a Saturday from 9am onwards to help Tony, Pricey and the team. Don't worry if you have no building skills you can help knock down walls as part of the Oompa Loompas. Then around 4pm we drift off to the bar for some real Old Yards socialising. Even if you can only help for a couple of hours turn up as many hands make light the work.

Current Works - The new ladies toilets are being plastered. The old ladies toilets are being converted into the new gents. We are on target to complete the toilets by our next booking on 28th June.
